The primary mission of the New Kent County Economic Development Department is to foster a strong economic environment which supports existing businesses and promotes high quality economic growth in accordance with the County’s Comprehensive Plan, and to actively promote tourism opportunities utilizing our historic and natural resources, as well as commercial tourism venues.
