Aug 2010 - Chamber of Commerce donates $10,000 to the New Kent Heritage Public Library
Matt Hipple, Chamber President, presented a $10,000 check to the New Kent Branch of Heritage Pubic Library. The money will be used to add reference materials to the library. The money is a portion of the proceeds from the 2010 Wine Festival sponsored by the Chamber.
Aug 2010 - Chamber of Commerce donates $2,000 to the Thelma Crump Wilson Scholarship Fund.
Sept 2009 - Chamber of Commerce donates $5,000 to the New Kent High School
Scotty Hager,Chamber President, presented a $5,000 check to the New Kent High School for use by the Career & Technical Education Department in preparing students for the business environment. The money is a portion of the proceeds from the 2009 Wine Festival sponsored by the Chamber.
