Annual Business Appreciation Dinner - Excellence in Business Awards

June 5, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Royal New Kent.
Hosted by: New Kent Chamber & New Kent County EDA

Each year the New Kent Economic Development Authority in Cooperation with the New Kent Chamber of Commerce hosts this event to recognize the numerous contributions of the business community by saying, "Thank you!". We thank you for the products and services you provide, the jobs you create, the taxes you pay, and for your general support of the County and community activities.


We look forward to you and your guest joining us on Wednesday, June 5th. The dress is business casual. There is NO COST to attend the event however registration is required by Wednesday, May 22, 2013. We are also accepting nominations for our six award categories for the Excellence in Business Award. If you would like to nominate a business please email coordinator@newkentchamber.org. This year’s awards are (1)Workforce Development Award, (2) Business Citizen Award, (3) Small Business Award, (4) Made in New Kent County Award, (5) At your Service Award, (6) Large Business Award.

Monthly Business & Networking Meeting

June 18, 2013 at 6:30 PM at the Visitors and Commerce Center.
Speaker: State Senator Tommy Norment

Please join us for our monthly business and networking meeting. Food and Beverage will be served beginning at 6:30pm. Both members and non-members are invited to attend.

We are delighted to have State Senator Tommy Norment as a guest speaker at our June Meeting. Sen. Norment will discuss the current State of the Commonwealth and take questions from the audience.
